The Harden Murrumburrah Camera Club’s 2024 Exhibition and Competition was officially opened on Friday, September 20.

Club member and avid photographer, Keith Ward said that while numbers were a little down on the night, it was a great event overall.

“The official opening was performed by Councillor Tony Flannery who, with Harden Murrumburrah Camera Club secretary Gail Douglas, issued prizes to all winners,” Mr Ward said.

“Judge Sarah Moore issued the Champion Print awards to Martin Lang and Emily Douglas. Sarah then spent the evening passing on valuable insights about selected photos to attendees. Sarah has many years as a professional photographer in Sydney.”

What was very clear to see on the night was the fact that there are some very talented local photographers.

This annual event is made possible by the generosity of Hilltops Council and a number of local businesses, whose ongoing support is greatly appreciated by the Camera Club.

The Harden Murrumburrah Camera Club meets on the first Thursday of every month except January at 7:30 pm at the Old Courthouse, Murrumburrah.

Visitors and new members are always welcome to join in the monthly meetings.

If you have any questions, or would like to learn more about the club, contact Keith Ward at 0428 451 314.
