Appeal to Harden residents to get COVID-19 test
All Harden residents are asked to get a COVID-19 test, with two venues of concern.
Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) appeals to all Harden residents to get tested for COVID-19 after a person who has tested positive to COVID-19 stayed in Harden on Friday night while potentially infectious.
The person is an essential worker who undergoes regular routine testing. They are now isolating outside of the MLHD.
All close and casual contacts at the accommodation venue, The Light Horse Hotel, have been identified and notified.
Venues of Concern are Harden IGA, Friday September 3 between 4:45pm to 5:15pm and South West Fuel on Saturday September 4 between 6:10am to 6:45am.
Anyone who attended the venues at the times listed is a casual contact who must immediately get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
Please continue to monitor for symptoms and immediately get tested and isolate if they develop.
SMS messages will be sent to people who were at the venues at these times and checked in with a QR code.
MLHD will deploy a mobile COVID-19 Testing Clinic to enable anyone who is a casual contact, or any community member who has symptoms or is concerned, to come forward for testing.
