Boorowa Courthouse Arts and Craft Co-Op is once again a proud sponsor of the 2019 Irish Woolfest, this year presenting the Woolfest Street Parade.
There are currently 33 members of the Co-Op, which will be serving Devonshire Tea at the Magistrates Tea Rooms with freshly made scones during the Festival.
Secretary Lorna Spackman is a proud supporter of Woolfest and enjoys welcoming old and new faces to the region for the event. “The Co-Op is also the Visitor Information Centre so we meet new people and get to talk about the town, also learning about where they are from,” she said.
“We also offer lunch and refreshments (morning and afternoon) for coach tours. The brochure for the Shamrock Trail walking tour is also available. There is an assortment of woollen clothes – from baby clothes to adult wear, including jumpers and dresses. And then there are the nick-knacks, artworks, a range of jams, pickles and home cooking available. You name it, we make it,” said Lorna.
