Neil Langford

Neil was elected to Hilltops Council on the promise of accountability, transparency and communication for all resident interactions with council over the next four-year term.

He is a progressive supporter of regional development and infrastructure improvements for the Hilltops region and brings over sixty years’ experience in retail management, small business ownership, advertising, marketing and media and communications experience to the role of Councillor.

Neil was awarded the Young Individual Community Service Award at the 2000 Australia Day Ceremony for his involvement in the National Cherry Festival Committee, the Clickety Clack to Young and Back Rail promotion, the Lambing Flat Festival, the Young Home Trade and Leisure Fairs, the Young Active Business Committee (YABS), and was also a member of the former Young Shire Council Economic Development Committee.

Neil’s lifetime experience and common-sense approach will provide residents with the confidence to engage with the council on the important issues that affect them and their families as they live, work and play in the Hilltops region.
