Best&Less Partners With Starlight Foundation Ahead Of Christmas
Best&Less customers can be part of putting smiles on the faces of seriously ill children this Christmas in partnership with the Starlight Children’s Foundation.
Family retailer, Best&Less announced a new partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation (Starlight) with the aim to bring joy to sick children this Christmas.
Through in-store donations during the remainder of November and December, customers bet behind the partnership and help create the joy, fun and happiness seriously ill children need to get through the toughest times.
Starlight has brightened the lives of seriously ill children, young people and their families for more than 30 years.
Every minute of every day, a child is admitted to hospital in Australia. In that moment, many of them receive a diagnosis that can change the course of their life and the lives of their famililes forever.
Suddenly smiles disappear and life becomes an endless cycle of hospitals, doctors, needles and pain.
Starlight provides hospital services that are integral to the total care of seriously ill children while health professionals focus on treating the illness.
Captain Starlight is there to lift the spirit of the child and deliver a healthy dose of positive distration.
Head of Marketing for Best&Less, Janine Van Deventer said they were thrilled to partner with the Starlight Children’s Foundation this Christmas and help make the lives of seriously ill children a little brighter.
“Family is so important to us as a brand and we want to extend that passion to Starlight, supporting families through some of the toughest moments of their life,” Ms Van Deventer said.
“We hope to raise $100,000 which will help Starlight grant 15 additional wishes to sick kids and their families.”
Starlight continued supporting sick kids through the recent pandemic challenges.
There are no fewer seriously ill children and young people in hospital and they need the fun, joy, laughter and connection Starlight brings now more than ever.
