Boorowa Multipurpose Service

Boorowa Multipurpose Service recommenced full services from 7 am on Monday, January 8, following temporary changes due to staff shortages over the festive season.

The Berrigan and Urana MPS facilities resumed previous service levels earlier than expected as well, leaving just two operating under temporary changes until January 29.

The emergency department of Batlow MPS will be open between 7 am and 9 pm.

Patients requiring ED treatment between the hours of 9 pm and 7 am should present to Tumut Hospital or in case of emergency call 000 for an ambulance.

Operational hours for Coolamon-Ganmain MPS are 7 am to 5 pm, with patients needing ED treatment outside those hours are urged to present to Junee MPS or call 000 for an ambulance.

Murrumbidgee Local Health District is working closely with NSW Ambulance to maintain a 24/7 response to emergency care.

People with non-threatening illnesses or injuries are encouraged to visit their GP or call Healthdirect Australia on 1800 022 222, a 24-hour telephone health advice line staffed by registered nurses to provide fast, expert advice on any health issue, including what to do next.
