Boorowa Museum Thanks Community For Support

The Boorowa & District Historical Society Inc and Museum raised just over $900 at their Trivia Night on November 23.

Secretary Sharon Meere offered a huge thank you to the local community for its support for the event.

“We raised just over $900 which will assist the work we do in the Museum enormously,” Ms Meere said.

“From what we have heard, everyone had an enjoyable night and it was great that everyone got into the spirit of the night and got dressed up.”

Ms Meere also offered thanks to A/Professor Julian Cox who performed as emcee for the evening, adding another dimension to the event, along with his wife, Helen, who admirably controlled the electric scoring.

The Museum will be closed over Christmas from 1 pm on Thursday, December 19 to 11 am on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
