Winter is officially over and the Rotary Club of Boorowa is taking full advantage of the beautiful spring weather and gearing up to recommence their great local Community Markets.
The markets will be held at the Old Courthouse Park (corner of Marsden and Queen Streets, Boorowa) from 9 am to 1 pm on Saturday, September 28.
Market Coordinator, Lyn Diskon said they had a new busker for the month, named Steve.
“Thank you Jane for arranging him to come along,” Ms Diskon said.
“The barbecue is being cooked by the Reid’s Flat Community Hall and Gymkhana Committees. It should be heaps of fun.”
As usual, there will be loads of markets selling everything from local arts and crafts to giftware, homewares and so much more. There will be loads of food and drinks to cater to everyone’s tastes.
Not only are these community market days a great way to support local businesses and the wider community, but they are a fantastic way to get out and socialise with fellow residents after being rugged up inside all winter.
So, get your friends and family together and head out to the community markets on Saturday, September 28.
