The Boorowa Rovers met with top-of-the-table team, the Bungendore Tigers at the Boorowa Showground field where the Rovers brought home an unexpected win of 32 to 20 on Saturday, July 15.

The Roverettes, however, had a tough game against the ladies Tigers team who beat them 22 to 4.

The iconic Hinds brothers trio all played magnificent games, making their team and family proud of their performances and clearly displayed their mateship.

The win puts the Rovers on the semi final trajectory, where the boys have been described as genuine threats to their opponents.

Videographer ‘Roaming With Belle’ (@roamingwithbelle) conducted video interviews where a Rover player described his team with the words, “Community, passion, heart.”

Due to their incredible performances on the field, Grace Barker from the Roverettes and Cooper Cross from the Rovers were awarded ‘Players Player’ for their respective teams.

The Rovers will face North Canberra next week for another home game with hopes of another impressive win.

Kick off will be 1:15pm for the Roverettes and 2:30pm for the Rovers.
