Young Boys to the Bush held a gala night on Sunday, July 1, with a great turnout from the community to raise money for the not-for-profit organisation.
Boys to the Bush has grown rapidly since its first days in 2017, from three regional school teachers with extensive experience teaching young students with complex behavioural needs.
Their aim is to engage with 130,000 youth by 2030, and the speed at which the charity has grown and spread, they are well on their way to achieving that goal.
The Young team engages with dozens of vulnerable boys. The gala night was organised to raise much-needed funds for the organisation to continue the wonderful work they are doing.
On the night, Member for Cootamundra Steph Cooke announced that Boys to the Bush Young would receive $28, 910 in grant funding for vocational training tools, camping/recreational equipment and shed infrastructure, bringing the total invested by the NSW Government to over $670,000 over the past two years.
