The General Store, owned by Ainslee Stoney, provides an incredible range of products including books, cards, toys and clothes. They stock a large range of locally sourced products including Quandialla candles, Hilltops Honey candles and Long Track Pantry jams, dressings and relishes.
Ainslee, along with Bridget and Jo aspire to create a relaxed atmosphere to provide ease of shopping with no pressure for people to walk in and find individual pieces that will last a lifetime.
Bridget has worked with Ainslee for 8 years and is participating in Young’s Dancing With The Stars with dance partner Anthony Murphy this November to raise money and awareness for cancer.
“Ainslee has been a huge encouragement for me to participate,” Bridget shares. “Despite how scary it will be dancing on stage, it will be worth it to help raise money and awareness for as many cancer patients as possible.”
This is one reason she first volunteered for Look Good, Feel Better, a free community service program for cancer patients, which she has been involved in for 14 years. It usually runs in Young twice a year but hasn’t been able to run during the pandemic.
If you’d like to support Bridget in Dancing With The Stars, pop in and make a donation at the General Store, open six days a week.
