The Country Education Foundation of Boorowa 2025 grant applications will close for another year on October 30.

Anyone aged between 16 and 25 years, intending to study further education in 2025 is eligible to apply. Boorowa businesses with an apprentice or trainee who could benefit from additional support are urged to encourage their young staff members to apply.

CEF offers grants based on what an applicant needs and their determination to achieve. Those grants help purchase textbooks and laptops for university students, purchase tools and equipment for trainees and apprentices and even assists rural and regional youth to relocate to take up career opportunities.

For the 2024 calendar year, Boorowa’s CEF branch awarded over $45,000 in grants to 20 local students - the highest amount allocated in a single year in the branch’s 30year history.

CEF also supports and mentors students through their studies, apprenticeships or traineeships - something that can be just as important as financial assistance for some applicants; that their community believes in them.
