Dijana Mrkovic - Green Ivy Cafe

Started in 2019, Dijana Mrkovic, with the outstanding support and wonderful ideas of her daughter, Kristy, together with their team, create masterful food offerings, 7 days a week.

The “food art” combined with the ethos in the cafe, is that the food “has to be spot on” every time and the team delivers on this through the beautiful menu and masterful coffee making.

Dijana started out in business with having a passion and love for food. The catering business that she was operating became so popular that she needed a larger commercial kitchen. It was at that time that Kristy suggested to her mother that she open a cafe to continue the catering and also provide a way for the community to experience the wonderful food that her mother creates, and so Green Ivy was born.

The catering and the cafe run side by side. The cafe allows Dijana, her family and team to interact with the community on a daily basis, and the catering business is the avenue to create beautiful grazing boxes and tables for all events, including weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, wakes, memorials and more.

Dijana loves running the business and she is at her happiest when she sees the reaction on her customers’ faces when she takes the food to the table. The Green Ivy is open 7 days a week. 8:00am-3:00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am-2.00pm on weekends. The kitchen closes at 2pm on weekdays, and at 1pm on weekends.
