Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN) is holding information sessions on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) in Young. The speaker will be Tanzi Collinge from the National Organisation of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders. Topics include: description of FASD and its types, affects of FASD on the individual, the diagnosis processes, challenges for individuals living with FASD, responding to individuals living with FASD and strategies for support and learning. There will be two sessions, one for service providers and one for parents and carers. The service providers session will be held on Monday the 26th of August at the Young Services Club. 8.30am registration for a 9am start, 3.30pm finish. The parents and carers session will be held on Tuesday the 27th of August at the Young Services Club. 9.30am registration for a 10am start, 1pm finish.
