Handmade In Harden Markets A Huge Success
Shoppers At The Markets
The Handmade in Harden Murrumburrah Community Markets launched on Sunday the 19th of May.
There were over 30 market stalls offering a vast array of creations for sale, including candles, cards, dog coats, jewellery, quilts, fresh fruit and veg, pickles, relish, cushions garden ornaments and gluten free bread.
Stallholders were very pleased with the success of the day. The plan for the market is to become a regular event, held on the third Sunday of each month. The next market will be the 16th of June.
The markets are a joint initiative of Harden Murrumburrah Arts Council and Murrumburrah Harden Rotary Club. Market co-ordinators Yvonne Whitechurch and Nicole Scott would like to thank stallholders and visitors for supporting the event launch and are keen to add to future market success by hearing from talented makers as well as buskers who would like to be a part of future markets.
All enquiries can be emailed to handmadeinharden@gmail.com or by phoning Yvonne Whitechurch on 0402 418 252.
