Harden Comes Out To Honour ANZACS

ANZAC Day - a day that never ceases to draw people of all ages from their beds before sunrise.
Residents across the Hilltops region gathered for the traditional Dawn Service at various locations.
A large crowd of Hardenites gathered at Newson Park at 6 am for their moving Dawn Service, after which the CWA ladies put on a barbecue breakfast of sausage and egg-and-bacon rolls, tea and coffee.
Guest speaker, Cameron Hooke addressed more than 150 people at a solemn commemorative service.
Hundreds marched from Neill Street to Newson Park at the 10:30 am ANZAC Day march honourng all of those who fought, and those who died, so that we could enjoy the freedom we so often take for granted.
Bugler, Hayden Dalton performed at several of the region’s commemorative events.
