David James November Medallist
Like BP, David James is the quiet achiever. Posting some very handy rounds over the last 6 months but not quite appearing on the dais, the November Monthly Medal was David’s time to shine. With a beautiful spring day and the course fighting back still, no players in the field played to their handicaps, but those who managed the conditions best, featured at the podium.

The A Medal and winner of the event and the Guzzler’s Mug for November, sponsored by Harden Country Club, was David James. David recorded a 1 over handicap 72 nett to claim the Club voucher. The A Grade Scratch mark was taken on the day by Kevin Hoppe with a handy 80 off the stick.

In the B Grade Medal stakes, the winner this month proves that dedication to your sport and perseverance will get you there. David Solah has claimed the November B Medal, whilst Eric Kuhn has taken the B Scratch.

The ball winners on the day were Craig Filmer, Tam Kennedy and Kevin Hoppe.

Whilst this November Medal counts toward the 20/21 Medal of Medals, the 19/20 Medal of Medals was run in conjunction with the day’s event. The best of a bad lot on the day proved to be Craig Filmer and his finish with cotter pins and axles falling off down the last 4 holes near saw him run down by Ron Page and Tam Kennedy. In the finish, Craig’s 75 nett scraped home by 1 shot to claim the end of year glassware in this category.

This Week
The contractors responsible for the delivery of the new watering infrastructure on course under the NSW Infrastructure Grant (Bray Water) have been very generous in offering a mammoth sponsorship for a 1 day event due for this Saturday.

The Bray Water Invitational will be a 4 person Ambrose held this Saturday with prizes across multiple divisions. The field is growing by the day and already I am led to believe we have over 150 entrants in for the day which is phenomenal. You can still get in by contacting the Club on 6386 2483 or by visiting www.hardencountryclub.com where an entry link exists. All are welcome.

On Sunday, the Club is sending a contingent to the Cootamundra Open and if this interests you, contact Coota Pro Shop. See you around the links.
