Harden Murrumburrah Residents Urged To Light Up This Christmas

It is a time-honoured tradition in many Australian families to head out on Christmas Eve and check out the Christmas lights.

Kids in the back seat with eyes aglow, exclaiming, “Wow, look at that one,” every now and then.

That’s the Christmas spirit.

Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation member Antonia Brown said there was still time for residents to register their Christmas lights in this year’s Christmas Lights Display and Competition.

“People just have to email admin@hrdc.org.au to register,” Ms Brown said.

“I just need name, address and contact details for the registration.”

“Winners will be announced at the Harden Murrumburrah Community Markets on Sunday 15th December.”

“There will be prizes for home and business light displays.”

Ms Brown said that registering displays was all about letting people know where the lights are.

“People put so much work into preparing their displays and it’s a lovely way to share the locations so everyone in the community can share the amazing lights.”
