Harden Plays Host For Tourism Workshop
Learn the fundamentals needed to build a successful tourism business at the free interactive session with Destination Southern NSW and Hilltops Council at Barnes Store Emporium and Cafe from 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, April 10.
Destination Southern NSW (DSNSW) together with Hilltops Council will hold a free interactive session in Harden on Wednesday, April 10 to introduce tourism operators with fundamentals on making a successful tourism business.
During the session, DSNSW will explore opportunities within the tourism industry and provide information on developing tourism experiences.
The free event is suitable for accommodation providers, tour operators, food and drink venues, attractions, and anyone with a new tourism idea or those interested in tourism.
Business owners will learn how to better navigate the tourism industry, understand how to enhance your tourism experience, and learn how to develop a bookable product.
Topics will include:
- An overview of the NSW tourism industry;
- The role of Destination NSW, Destination Southern NSW, and Hilltops Council and how each organisation can help your tourism business;
- Why having an up-to-date ATDW listing is essential for your business and how to receive help to maximise opportunities;
- Developing a tourism experience that matches the needs of travellers, is highly visible, and is easy to book; and
Case studies and next steps in planning for your tourism experience.
The workshop will take place at Barnes Store Emporium and Cafe from 10 am to 1 pm on Wednesday, April 10, with light refreshments provided.
