Thirty six quizzers ranging from young school-aged children to adults pitted their Harry Potter knowledge against one another at Murrumburrah-Harden Rotary’s recent Trivia Night event.

Murrumburrah-Harden Rotary’s Harry Potter trivia night was a huge success.

Spokesperson for the group, Rita O’Connor said they had 36 contestants ranging from primary school age to adults.

“It was wonderful to have a couple of people come over from Young,” Ms O’Connor said.

“I think everyone had a good time.”

There was a wealth of knowledge around the room on the night, but in the end one team took a slight lead, according to Ms O’Connor.

“The team from MHS (Longbottom’s Remembralls) won by a whisker over one of the primary school teams (Hufflepuff Hippogriffs),” she said.

Ms O’Connor said young Harry won the best dressed on the night.

Leading up to the Easter weekend, there was lots of chocolate consumed throughout the night and everyone present took along a basket supper.

After such a successful evening, people wait to hear if there will be a repeat.
