The celebration of a century of Harden Hawks rugby league has been disrupted due to COVID restrictions.

The 100-year celebration game will still go ahead this Saturday, however the reunion dinner has been rescheduled again to Saturday November 27, 2021.

A big day of footy is planned with five matches that include old boys and juniors.

Game times are: 10:30am Blumers Lawyers under 19s Harden/Boorowa versus Gungahlin; 11:45am the Katrina Fanning Shield with the WorHawks versus Boomanulla; and at 1pm the Specsavers GTS league tag first versus second; Harden Hawkettes Vs Coota Bullettes.

These games are before the Old Boys Peter Leitner Cup, with Harden Hawks versus Cootamundra Bulldogs at 2:05pm. Hawks junior league games are at 2.40pm, with the Blumers Lawyers GTS featuring the Hawks versus Bulldogs at 3pm.

The first grade will be wearing especially designed jumpers on Saturday.

There is a silent auction for the jersey on their Facebook page. Bids will be taken on the day.

All other grades will be wearing socks with the colours the Harden Football Club have worn over the century.

Harden CanAssist will be running the canteen/bar, with a bucket for donations.

Organisers ask that COVIDsafe rules, including QR check in, wearing a mask and santasing be followed.
