Boorowa local Mum Elle Coate has made a huge impact on the community as an advocate for healthy mental and physical health.

She has created a space where people from every walk of life can move their bodies, benefitting their mental and physical health.

After immersing herself in the Boorowa community and speaking to many locals, she saw the need for group fitness sessions.

Wanting to create an inclusive environment where everyone felt safe to workout their bodies and minds for her clients, she started an exciting program at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club which began on the 8th of May.

As a parent herself, Elle is aware of how hard it is to look after yourself and attend classes, therefore, made her Friday classes specifically children friendly.

This makes the space extremely inviting to other parents who came together, conversed and moved their bodies.

“I want to introduce fun, supportive, engaging fitness sessions that create positive relationships towards ourselves, our mental health, our overall health and of course create a safe space,” said Elle.

It is evident that Elle is exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about her work after having to obtain many qualifications to execute this program, however, she says that it is all worth it.

“I love designing programs that are suitable for all ages, genders and all levels of fitness that are personalised yet can challenge individuals to push themselves to become better then they were yesterday,” said Elle.

After the success of her first week and many raving positive reviews, Elle has made the decision to continue her program every week.
