Hilltops cherry season begins

Hall Orchard cherries

The Hall family has been growing premium export quality cherries for three generations and the fourth generation are eagerly involved in all facets of the business. In 2016, they decided to offer customers the unique opportunity to buy premium export quality cherries direct from their boutique farm gate shop. During select weekends in December each year, they also open their orchard up to the public for the rare opportunity to U-Pick premium export quality cherries.

In 2019, Hall Family Orchards won NSW Farmer of the Year and a National Carbon Cocky Award for Demonstrated Improvement in Carbon Management in Horticulture or Viticulture. They practice the latest in biological and regenerative horticultural practices with no nasty chemicals and work with nature instead of against it to achieve the best quality and flavour in their cherries.

They offer the best varieties based on their firmness, flavour and size. Each cherry variety is tested by the family to pass the test and only then do they offer these to their customers.

They are located at 28 Ellerslee Road (off the Olympic Hwy), Wombat NSW 2587 and are open each day during the cherry season from 8am until 4pm. Premium U-Pick is available on select weekends: Sat 28th Nov & Sun 29th Nov
Sat 5th Dec & Sun 6th Dec
Sat 12th Dec & Sun 13th Dec
Sat 19th Dec & Sun 20th Dec

Hall Family Orchards want to share their passion for growing beautiful cherries and enjoy the experience with the customer first hand. Bring a picnic blanket or sit in the beautiful garden that surrounds the modern boutique farm gate shop to enjoy the ultimate cherry experience and taste the difference. Check their Facebook for regular updates.
