CanAssist Harden-Murrumburrah Upcoming Raffles
Easter raffle, tickets will be available outside Supabarn on Thursday the 3rd and Saturday the 5th of April. $2 a ticket or 3 for $5. Prize is a basket of Easter eggs and chocolates. Chauvel First Light Horse Ride Coming to Young
The first stop of leg 2 on the Chauvel First Light Horse Ride will be in Young on the 31st of March. There will be uniformed mounted riders at the gravel car park between the Federation Motel and the Pet Shop in Young’s Main Street at 10am, for a presentation of a list of names of men who were in the light horse from Young and District. The Young RSL sub branch will also be in attendance. The Young & District Family History Group put the list together. The ride will travel 29km from Young to Wallendbeen. The ride will conclude on the 16th of April in Tallangatta, commemorating 160 years since the birth of Harry Chauvel.
Harden Hospital Auxiliary Monthly Morning Tea
The morning tea will take place on Thursday the 3rd of April at 10.30am. The venue is 98 Albury Street, Harden. Cost is $10.00 per person. The guest speaker will be Jenny Polimeni on Ronald McDonald House. Members meeting will follow the morning tea.
Tipperary Golf Club 30th Birthday Celebration
All are welcome to celebrate the Club’s 30th birthday. All are welcome and past sponsors, committee members, helpers, friends and players are invited to attend. Garden Club Of Young April Meeting
The Garden Club Of Young will be holding their April meeting on Wednesday the 2nd at 7pm at 27 Campbell St (on the town side of Young Budget Accommodation). The guest speakers will be Sharron from Young Army Cadets and Dean from Boys To The Bush, who will be talking about their work with young people in Young. This will be an interesting meeting and all are welcome.

Lions Club of Young Community Markets This Weekend
The Lions Club of Young will be holding their Trash and Treasure Markets this Saturday the 29th of March. There’ll be face painting, the Lions BBQ and coffee cart along with home baking, honey and stalls to browse. Stalls are $20 with your own insurance and $40 with insurance provided. Murringo Village Markets
