The Drummers on ANZAC Day are a favourite of many due to their fantastic rhythm and undoubtable skill.
There are three Boorowa locals who have dedicated many years to perfecting the art of drumming and in turn have continued to teach the younger generations.
Ted Anderson, Donnie Baddock and Donna Halls have been active members in the Boorowa Drummers for many years. The trio were extremely proud of the Boorowa Drummers on ANZAC Day after many hours of practicing on the lead up to the day clearly paid off as the March and services went flawlessly.
Donnie Baddock has given an impressive 37 years to the Drummers where he has handed down his skill and admiration of the art. During these years he has had the continued support of Ted Anderson who had given 32 years and Donna who had volunteered 17 years.
After the service a luncheon was held at Boorowa Ex-Services and Citizens Club where Alan Banks presented Donna Halls and Ted Anderson with drums as a token of appreciation for their services to the Boorowa Drummers.
