Six challenges in ten days - are you up for it? Can you and your Dad follow a clue or simply follow an instruction?

Harden-Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation (HRDC) has put together a Father’s Day Amazing Race Challenge commencing on Tuesday, August 22, when the first clue will be released.

Before the challenge begins you must email Antonia at admin@hrdc.org.au to register your team.

Now, the challenges have been designed to work for families of two right through to large families of ten or more.

Some of the challenges can be completed at home, while others will require you to venture out a little into the community.

Not all families are the same, so if yours doesn’t have a Dad you can enter the challenge with an uncle, grandfather, older brother, special man or father-figure in your life.

You can even enter with your Mum.

All you need to do to be involved is email your team with Antonia and wait for the clues to be released.

A clue to a challenge will be released every couple of days, allowing teams ample time to complete their task.

The challenge will culminate in a free celebration at the Harden Country Club, including a delicious barbecue, prizes, games and, of course, kite flying.

The aim of the event is to help families engage with each other and connect with the community.

Antonia is looking forward to every family in the community participating.

HRDC organised the event with a small grant from the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network aimed at promoting resilience and wellbeing. Can your family work out all of the clues?
