Boorowa Rotary will host leading urologist, Associate Professor Hodo Haxhimolla at the Boorowa Ex-Services Club on Wednesday, July 5 at 7pm.
Dr Haxhimolla, who received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of New South Wales, will speak about prostate cancer.
His training has occurred in Australia and overseas and he is now a practicing urologist in Canberra.
Dr Haxhimolla’s talk will give men the information they need to avoid prostate cancer, identify early symptoms, seek appropriate treatment and generally have a better future.
While the subject specifically concerns men, the evening is open to everyone.
Boorowa Rotary hopes local residents, both men and women, will take advantage of the unique opportunity to hear Dr Haxhimolla, ask questions and become knowledgeable about a cancer that affects men so prolifically.
