Murrumburrah-Harden Community Garden Prepares For Rural Women’s Gathering

Murrumburrah-Harden Community Garden is the venue for two workshops as part of the Rural Women’s Gathering in October.

The Murrumburrah Rotary Club will be running two workshops during the up-coming Rural Women’s Gathering in October.

These workshops will be conducted at the Murrumburrah-Harden Community Gardens, so some work will be carried out over the next month to make sure the garden is looking its best.

Growing Fresh Produce: Simply Herbacious is one of the workshops being held at the Community Garden.

Immerse yourself in earthy tasks, learn new skills and learn ways to use herbs, in cooking, teas, air purifiers, soaps and more.

There’s an incredible lineup of workshops available at this year’s Gathering, from a bush tucker workshop, where you can learn about traditional ingredients and their home cooking uses to a tennis session that will get your whole body moving.

The garden has produced some delicious vegetables enjoyed by community members over winter.
