Page looking for LIV contract

Saturday saw a glorious day at Royal Harden with the weather gods finally giving some love.

With a smaller then normal field, The stage was set for an individual stableford event. After some back and fourth Ron Page took the chocolates by 1 point with a respectable 32 points.

Following hot on his heels were 3 punters with 31 points. Dave Solah, Eve Shea and Kevin Hoppe all taking drink vouchers.

The course is looking in great condition and with the addition of the new sand bunkers and the green running fast it’s turning harden into a real challenge. Credit must go out to the greens keepers for keeping the course looking pristine.

This Saturday see’s the start of Club Championships. Always a big event in both mens and ladies divisions. The mens Club Champs will run this Saturday and Sunday and also The following Saturday and Sunday.

The ladies will be running this Saturday And Sunday and also the Following Saturday.

This Saturday will also see the inclusion of the monthly medal which should mean a great turnout of golfers for some all round good golf. Hopefully the weather gods hold out.

Congratulations must also go to Simon Glover and Pete Elliot on making the final for the Dempster cup. Simon took the chocolates 3/2 against Janette Elliot and Pete took out the old Dempster specialist Herb Manwaring 4/3.

We look forward to the final fixture of Dempster being played and good luck to all those competing for club championships over the next 2 weeks. Will Somebody please take Ben Glover out!
