Pippa Receives Highly Commended For Her Peace Poster

Pippa Findlay was the local winner of the Lions Children’s Peace Poster competition, receiving a highly commended from the 201N4 District Competition.

Students from all the schools in the region were able to create their ideas of peace and enter in the Peace Poster Competition.

It was open to all 11 to 13-year-old students.

The local level was recognised by the sponsoring Lions Club, but advancement attracted further judging opportunities.

Students were encouraged to express their unique thoughts of what peace meant to them.

Several students presented the Lions Club of Young with amazing artwork depicting the theme of the competition and the club was proud of those students who participated, congratulating them all for their efforts.
