Plans Move Forward For Harden Kite Festival

We are almost halfway through the year, which means that our favourite annual event is just around the corner.

That’s right, Harden Kite Festival is set to happen on Saturday, October 12, but we all know that everything that we’ve come to know and love about this event isn’t possible without a lot of work behind the scenes.

The professional kite flyers from all over Australia that attend the festival are a huge draw card, with their remarkably colourful, eye-catching kites.

Organising the free activities for children of all ages, rides and entertainment, food and drink vendors and everything in between is necessary for a successful festival.

If you would like to get involved with the behind the scenes work, or you have some ideas that could improve the festival, the committee will be meeting on Monday, June 24 at Harden Murrumburrah Regional Development Corporation, 39 Neill Street Harden.

It will only take an hour of your time and begins at 5:30 pm.
