Preschoolers Captivated By A Treasured Book

Surrounded by technology as we are today it is often difficult to imagine that something as simple as a book could bring such pleasure.

If you had been at the Bunyip Daycare and Preschool last week when they received their very own storybook courtesy of Murrumburrah-Harden Rotary and funded Bendigo Community Bank.

Spokesperson for Murrumburrah-Harden Rotary, Rita O’Connor said the little Bunyips were absolutely delighted to sit down and start turing the pages.

“Due to the generosity of the Bendigo Community Bank, we were able to purchase a beautiful new selection of books,” Ms O’Connor said.

“What a beautiful reception we received at Bunyip Daycare and Preschool.”

“The children were so excited to choose a book and start reading straight away.”

“Thank you to Sarah and her educators for assisting the children make their choices.”

This was the final delivery for this year’s first round of book giving.

Another trip around the schools will occur later in the year with another book each up for grabs.
