Resident Scratches Head At Final Touch For Murrimboola Creek Project
Murrimbool Creek Project.
The Murrimboola Creek Project at Murrumburrah has been a very creative and unique development, with its particularly impressive ampitheatre complete with matted grass area.
Murrumburrah resident Greg Medway congratulated Hilltops Council and the project developers, Delaney.
“So, with the project, supposedly completed, grass seeds have been planted down a huge sloping dirt block to the ampitheatre and the creek,” Mr Medway said.
“It’s not working.
“When it rains the seeds flow down into the creek and also the large flock of corellas as been enjoying the feast.
“The inground sprinkler system underneath the dirt block is impressive.”
The sprinkler system was designed for parks and ovals where there is matted grass in place.
“When the sprinkler is turned on, the dirt block becomes a mud heap and creates channels in the dirt,” Mr Medway said.
“It’s also quite dangerous after it has rained.
“I invite Margeret Roles and the Hilltops Councilors to come and view the Murrimboola Creek Project.”
Mr Medway feels that an uninviting appearance gives the impression that them Murrimboola Creek Project has not been completed.
“Grassed, it would look magnificent.”
