Show N Shine in Wombat

The Wombat Swap Meet is back this long weekend, with two days of fun.

The big boys’ toys come out for the show and shine on Saturday from 10am.

There will be a wide range of stalls from tools, custom made tables, homemade products, antiques, collectables and more.

The Wombat Hotel Social Group puts on the event every year to support the small community. They’ve given away over $160,000 in recent years.

“We work with the Wombat Progress Association regularly with events in the community,” organiser Chris Holmes said.

“We like to support local charities or families going through hard times as well as supporting local projects.”

The canteen is open from 7am both days and coffee carts on site at Wagenbah Oval.
