Rye Park Ute Show
The Rye Park Ute Show is being held on Saturday the 8th of February. Main categories $5, sub-categories $2. There will be food & drink, sheep & cattle and a car competition. Entry is free and gates are open 9am to 5pm at the Rye Park Rec Grounds.
One More Round For Roy
In support of Roy Jewitt, there will be a fundraiser on the 21st to the 22nd of February. Roy’s friend Matt Horder, Roy’s son Jesse and friend Narelle will be rowing 3km, riding 3km and running 2km every hour on the hour for 24 hours.
There will also be a Relay for Roy that will run alongside the Run, Row, Ride at Cranfield Oval with teams registering to walk the track for 24 hours. Registration is $25 per person. Funds raised will be divided among MND, the Stroke Foundation, and Roy’s assistance. Open 8.30am to 2pm on Friday and 8.30am to 11.30am on Saturday. They will still be accepting donations for the op shop and book sales post garage sale, but ask that all household items are donated to other charities. Lambing Flats Enterprises are happy to take donations that would have previously gone to St John’s.
Saddle Up For A Mate
Raising awareness for men’s mental health. Charlie Fenton will be riding for 24 hours around the Crookwell Show grounds starting at 3pm on the 28th of February and finishing at 3pm on the 1st of March. Free entry for the event. Chalkie White, Big Willie and Ross Webb will be performing and there will be special guest speakers. Donations are welcome. For more information, contact Charlie on 0418 160 161.

Yellow bins are at McLean Oval, Robert’s Park and at the rear of 44 Scott Street, Harden for donations. If you require them to be collected from your home, call Steve on 0422 284 962. All funds raised support local families while undergoing treatment for cancer.
The Adult Survivors of Child Abuse - Cowra Support Group

Coming to Gus Smith Oval, Young on Wednesday the 12th of February. 8am to 12pm. Free veterinary services include: free health checks, free microchipping, free dog C3 vaccinations and free cat F3 vaccinations. Cats must be in carriers and dogs must be on leads. 72nd Annual Koorawatha Show
Free rides and activities for the kids, dog trials, horse events, market stalls, live music, arts & crafts pavillion, cars & tractors on show and food & drink including the Koorawatha Co-Op. Held on Sunday the 2nd of March at the Koorawatha Showground. The Show is presented by the Koorawatha Show Society and begins at 10am.
Burrowa House presents Auction & Masquerade Cocktail Party
To raise much needed funds, Burrowa House is hosting an incredible Auction and Masquerade Cocktail Party on the 15th of February. Lions Club of Young Community Markets
The Lions Club of Young will be holding their Trash and Treasure Markets on Saturday the 29th of March. There’ll be face painting, the Lions BBQ and coffee cart along with home baking, honey and stalls to browse. Stalls are $20 with your own insurance and $40 with insurance provided.
