Harden Pony Club Working Bee
After the hailstorm last week, the working bee is desperately needed. The cross country course has taken a hit, and the Club needs all hands on deck to help clean up and get everything back in order before Grading, the ODE, and the Harden Horse Trials.
Jobs include:
- Clearing storm debris
- Staining & painting jumps
- Weeding & whipper snipping
- Changing the discs over
- Removing yard tags
- Tidying & organizing the shed
If you can spare even an hour, your help will be greatly appreciated! Bring along gloves, tools, and any equipment that might be useful.
Boorowa Gun Club Monthly Competition
Event 1: 25 Target Club Handicap 1st, 2nd and 3rd
Event 2: 75 Target Continental Championship 25 Target DB, 25 Target SB, 25 Target PSBreakfast, lunch and afternoon tea available. Eftpos available at the Club office.

Graham Provisional School Commemoration Event
A project has been underway for two years to restore the 140+ year old building. An event to commemorate the one teacher school will be held on the 18th of May 2025. Former students, teachers, families, friends and interested parties welcome. The school was located on Frogmore Road, Hovells Creek and opened in 1884 and closed in 1966. Harden Hospital Auxiliary Meeting
Harden Hospital Auxiliary will not be meeting in March. Meetings will resume as normal in April on Thursday the 3rd of April.
Hilltops Community Hub Community Morning Tea
The Monthly Hub Morning Tea for February will be held on Tuesday the 25th of February from 10am to 11.30am. It is free and open to the whole community.
All welcome, no bookings necessary. Meet others, get social and enjoy nibbles. There is also a lucky door prize.
Temporary Customer Service Office in Harden
Council customer operations were reinstated in Harden last week with a temporary customer service office set-up in the Harden Library (based in the Trinity Centre on East Street). This is a temporary arrangement in response to damage sustained from the storms and hours of operation will align with that of the library which is Monday to Friday 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 5pm. Customers are asked to visit during these times or please call 1300 445 586.
Young PCYC Safe Driver Course
The Safer Drivers Course aims to provide learner drivers with the knowledge they need to reduce road risks and prevent accidents by becoming a safe driver. You receive 20 hours in your log book. Wombat Swap Meet and Show’n’Shine
Gates open 7am. $5 entry pp. Canteen available all day. Car Show starts at 9am. Categories: Best Car, Best Bike, Best Truck, Most Original, Best Restored, People’s Choice. Site fees are $35 for a 6x6m site. Free camping Friday night for stallholders. All proceeds go to local charities and projects.
