Last Saturday, the Koorawatha Progress Committee held their first ever Koorawatha Markets.

The markets were held at Memorial Park, Koorawatha between 9am and 1pm.

30 stalls provided a huge variety of goods for market goers to choose from, including handcrafted beaded jewellery, fresh fruit and veg, Dutch pancakes, spices, sauces, syrups, meat, craft, pies, cakes and a sausage sizzle.

Visitors from throughout the Central West attended, with a fantastic day reported by both stallholders and customers.

The next Koorawatha Markets will be held on the 31st of August between 9am and 1pm. This market looks set to be bigger and better than the first, with over 40 stallholders expressing interest in attending.

There will also be another market held on the 30th of November.

Koorawatha Market Committee Members Karen Patrech and Kelly Hartley, along with the Koorawatha Progress Committee, would like to personally thank all those who helped and contributed to the markets, making it such a successful day.

All proceeds from the Markets go to the Koorawatha Progress Association. If you’re interested in booking a stall, email koorawathamarkets@gmail.com or contact Karen Patrech on 0439 095 939 or Kelly Hartley on 0421 035 490.
