Support Boorowa United Hospital Auxiliary And Make Your Mum Smile

What better way to celebrate Mum this Mother’s Day than with a delicious homemade treat - that someone else homemade for you? Not only that, but the money you spend spoiling your Mum will also go towards purchasing an important piece of equipment for the Hospital.

This year, the Boorowa United Hospital Auxiliary Mother’s Day Cake Stall will be held on Friday, May 10 inside Bert’s Barber Shop on Pudman Street, Boorowa from 9 am until everything is sold out, with all monies going toward their goal purchase of a Hover Jack for Boorowa MPS.

The Hover Jack costs $12,000 and will enable patients who have experienced a fall, fracture or both to be lifted with greater safety and comfort.

In an effort to raise as much money towards the Hover Jack, members of the Auxiliary will have a generous offering of homemade country-style cakes, slices, jams, and plants for purchase at their Mother’s Day Cake Stall.

Don’t waste time, though, they generally sell out before lunch.

If you aren’t in the market for any of the stall items but would like to contribute to the purchase of the hospital equipment, there will also be a Mother’s Day Gift raffle, with tickets available at the stall.

The Mother’s Day stall is the first official fundraiser for 2024 and the committee would like to kick start the year on a high note and make a nice dent in the $12,000 goal.
