The Boorowa Christmas Spending Spree is Go!

As bright posters in business windows and colourful buckets announce, the Boorowa Christmas Spending Spree is go!

This year, 34 Boorowa businesses are participating in this popular initiative of the Boorowa Business Chamber. Each business puts $100 into the spree, which means this year’s first prize is $3,400.

What it involves is customers of participating businesses receiving an entry form for each purchase they make, and there is no minimum spend. Customers then write their details on the entry forms and post them into one of the specially marked colourful buckets to secure them the chance of winning this welcome windfall.

One of the owners of “Dragonfly Boutique” in Pudman Street, Anneliese Wilson, said that her business is proud to participate in the Spending Spree, as it’s a great way of giving back to her customers.

The commencement of the annual Christmas Spending Spree heralds the Christmas season for many locals. The draw will occur on the 17th of December, so what have you got to lose? Buy local, support locals, and get in the running to have the best Christmas yet.
