The Hub Twilight Market Is Back
There is something for everyone at the popular Hub Twilight Market on Thursday, November 28.
The popular Hub Twilight Market is back at the Young Uniting Hall and grounds between 2 pm and 8 pm on Thursday, November 28.
Hub coordinator Naomi Peters said this year’s event was set to be bigger and better than ever.
“We have in excess of 25 stallholders so far,” Ms Peters said.
“Our local crafters, makers and small businesses have been busy and are keen to show off their wares.”
“We’ve also got a fun kids’ games alley.”
On offer will be bric-a-brac, gifts, plants, jewellery, lucky door prizes, clothing, buskers, coffee, ceramics, bags, icecream and eats, and even a psychic reader.
Ms Peters said the Hub Twilight Market began for a number of reasons:
• To offer the community the chance to come together;
• To raise much-needed funds for the Hub to go back into its programs for the coming year; and
• To give home ‘artisans and crafters’ the chance to exhibit their wares and talent.
“With insurance costs being what they are, not everyone gets that opportunity,” Ms Peters said.
“We offer a case by case chance to join in on our policy which means in turn that we get some wonderfully interesting things we might not have seen before.”
“I think people like the opportunity to support a local community service and that is made easier when the event itself is so community-oriented and fun.”
Entry is by gold coin donation.
