Trivia Night Aims To Raise Funds Towards New Units For Carinya Court Complex

For just $5 per head, you could be a part of adding much-needed units for Carinya Court Complex, situated in Court Street, Boorowa.

The $5 will get you a seat at one of the tables for ten at next month’s trivia night on Saturday, August 31 at Boorowa Ex-Services Club.

Doors open at 6 pm on the night, with loads of fun, raffles, chocolate wheels and auctions throughout the night - then there’s the trivia.

The night has been arranged to raise money for the construction of new units for Carinya Court Complex, designed in the 1980s to provide affordable, low-cost housing for aged and disadvantaged individuals.

Carinya Court Complex currently has fourteen units - 10 single, two double and two wheelchair accessible units.

Each unit is airconditioned, carpeted and tiled with a designated care space and additional storage shed.

There have been many upgrades over the years, but it is now time to increase the number of units to help more residents from their growing waiting list.

They are calling on the community to help them achieve this ambitious project.
