Unique Gala Masquerade Event Planned For Burrowa House

When reflecting on the heart of the community, one institution stands out for its unwavering dedication and care.

Burrowa House aged care facility has provided a professional and warm care to its residents for 30 remarkable years.

Organising Committee President Sharee Darmody said it was that professional, warm and lovely care that made Burrowa House like a real home for its residents, ensuring they received the dignity, respect and support they deserved.

“As with many regional aged care facilities, Burrowa House faces unique challenges in maintaining its viability,” Ms Darmody said.

“We struggle to keep afloat. I’m hoping to get Young and surrounding areas to come along. Burrowa House is a fabulous place for people to live.”

“We don’t want it to be a case of out of sight out of mind. Our aged loved ones can’t be forgotten. This is where our community’s support becomes crucial.”

To that end, the Burrowa House fundraising committee is organising a spectacular masquerade gala cocktail event on February 15, 2025 - almost perfectly timed for Valentines Day.

It promises to be an unforgettable evening, featuring an exciting auction with exclusive items, a live band to keep you dancing, delectable canapes, and an exquisite selection of wine and champagne.

event, people will not only be treating themselves to a fantastic night out, they’ll alsobe contributing to the vital work of BurrowaHouse, that has helped make the residentsof Boorowa and surrounding towns feelas though they were at home over manyyears.
