Want To Manage Your Medicines Safely And Effectively?
IMAGE: The Medicines ED sessions held in Boorowa were as well attended as those conducted in Harden.
The final in a series of information sessions about using medications effectively will take place on Monday, March 6.
While this last session will contain similar information as the previous sessions held at Harden and Boorowa, it will be conducted online via zoom.
It is hoped that those people who were unable to attend the face-to-face meetings might be able to take advantage of the free after-hours information session via Zoom.
There are 1.3 million Australians living in rural and remote areas of the country that do not take their medications as intended.
To help everyone ‘mind their own medicines’ and make better decisions about their health, this free event is presented by independent pharmacists and funded by the Murrumbidgee Primary Health Network (MPHN).
Participants will learn:
- What they should know about their medicines;
- Tips and tools to help take medicines safely;
- Where to find good information; and
- Good questions to ask their doctor and pharmacist.
If you have ever asked yourself what you’re taking, why you’re taking it and when and how you should be taking it - this information session is for you.
Book your attendance at the free online session at https://bit.ly/medicinesed or www.medicinesed.com.au.
