Young Garden Club has made two generous donations to two local organisations who are doing fantastic work with young people in the community.
The Club made $2500 donations to both Boys To The Bush and the Young Army Cadets.
The donations were accepted by Dean on behalf of Boys To The Bush and Sharron on behalf of the Young Army Cadets at the Club’s brunch held last Saturday.
The raffle the Club conducted before Christmas was very successful, allowing the Club to make the significant donations.
The prizes for the raffle were donated by Bunnings.
The raffle is conducted yearly as part of the Young Garden Club’s community involvement.
The Club is conducting a plant morning this Saturday at Bunnings Young from 10am to 12pm, focusing on succulents.
The next meeting for the Club is on Wednesday the 5th of March at 7pm.
The meeting is held in the building that forms part of the accommodation of the old Catholic premises, next to the Conservatorium of Music and everyone is welcome to attend.
