Young Hospital Auxiliary News

The Young Hospital Auxiliary has big plans for October.

The monthy meeting will be in the meeting room at the Hospital on Thursday October 3rd at 10.30am. High tea raffle tickets will be on sale at IGA on Friday the 11th of October and there will be a meat raffle at the S and C Club on the 12th of October from 6.30pm. The Auxiliary’s High Tea will be held at St John’s Anglican Hall, Young on Saturday the 26th of October. Doors open at 2pm with delicious treats served. Cost is $20 and you can purchase tickets at the door. Table bookings are appreciated for catering purposes, so please ring 6382 6770 between 6pm-9pm. There will be a fantastic raffle. First prize is a gorgeous quilt, made by Mary Leask, quilted by Liz Burlington and donated by Mary Leask and her sister Jean Warren. Second prize is a lovely gift basket donated by Poppa’s Fudge Factory and third prize is a $50 gift voucher donated by Pink Pots. Raffle tickets will be available on the day and the raffle will be drawn that afternoon. There will also be lucky door prizes. All proceeds purchase equipment for the Hospital.

The Auxiliary are planning to purchase a new mattress for the radiology table ($361.25), play activities to be used in the play section in the waiting room ($1,699.00) and elevation pillows and a neck-pad for the Emergency Department ($1,401.73).
