Young Indoor Bowls Report

Young Indoor Bowls are now playing twice each week on Monday and Wednesday nights.

Sixteen members turned up for a great night on Monday, playing three games of seven ends.

Chris Wright, Mary Storm and Sharyn were declared victors on the night with three wins and 26 points.

George O’Neil, Wilma Moors and Sonia Corcoran weren’t far behind with two wins and 27 points. Frances Young took home the Club voucher.

On Wednesday night, 21 members played three games of seven ends, with Christine Jones, Brian Butcher, Sue Palin and Andrew Lesiuk leading the night with two wins, one draw and 24 points.

The night’s runners-up were Bob Martin, Libby Johnson, Wilma Moors and Frances Young with two wins and 26 points.

Jenny Butcher took home the second Club voucher for the week. Everyone welcomed Keith Basham’s return to the club.
