Young Indoor Bowls Report

The Young Indoor Bowls Club had a bit of a mixed week, with two nights of fun.

They had a good roll-up of 21 members playing three games of seven ends on Wednesday, January 25.

Tony Henry, Brian Butcher and Judy Bray won with 29 points. Runners-up were Christine Jones, Jenny Butcher, Hap Richens and Keith Basham.

Sue Palin won the Club voucher.

Then they had 12 members play two games of 10 ends on Monday, January 30.

Numbers were down, but they still enjoyed themselves.

Hap Richens, Mary Storm and Sonia Corcoran took out the win with 32 points.

Close on their tails were runners-up George O’Neil, Wilma Moors and Chris Wright.

Barry Johnson took home the Club voucher.

Members are reminded that a fun bowls day is scheduled to be played at Goulburn on April 30.

Indoor bowls are played at the Young Services Club every Wednesday night, meeting at 6 pm for a 6:30 pm start.
