Young RSL Sub-branch Thanks Community After Remembrance Day

The Young RSL Sub-Branch gratefully thanked the community for their support in the lead up to Remembrance Day on Tuesday, November 11.

Through the sale of Remembrance Day badges outside Westpac Bank on Saturday, November 8, Sub-Branch Secretary Colleen Beckhaus said they had raised $2,270.04 for the veterans and war widows of Young and surrounding areas.

“We thank the public for their generosity and attendance at Anderson Park,” Ms Beckhaus said.

**RSL Sub-Branches support veterans and their families in a number of ways, including: **

• Connecting them to services to improve their wellbeing; and

• Assisting former Australian and allied veterans and families connect to their local community.
